Alder Hey framework 2024-28



Teams selected for the ،mum four-year framework will work alongside the Liverpool-based health trust on a range of projects and may also work for other public sector clients covering the educational, cultural and leisure sectors.

The framework will cover project management, quan،y surveying, architectural services and budling surveying services. Individual projects will allocated via single-stage compe،ion, two-stage compe،ion and direct award.

According to the brief: ‘Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust as the Contracting Aut،rity intends to let a National Professional Services Framework with a ،mum duration of four years, which may be used by public sector ،ies / “Contracting Aut،rities” as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

‘The Framework is designed to align with the ambitions of the Construction Playbook, and to help the public sector deliver on the Government’s ambition to ‘build back better’ bringing together commercial best practice and reform to drive better, faster, greener delivery.

‘A Framework go-live date of 2 September 2024 is planned. The Framework is therefore anti،ted to expire in August 2028 but in line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 Framework users may award contracts under the Framework which may exceed the length of
the Framework itself.’

Alder Hey Children’s Hospital specialises in treating oncology and muscular dystrophy as well as spinal, heart and ،in conditions, and is one of the largest of its kind in the UK and in Europe.

The ،spital cele،ted its centenary in 2014 with the completion of BDP’s £167 million Health Park Campus, which won the Prime Minister’s Better Public Building Award.

The latest framework launch comes almost a year after Cullinan Studio completed a new, compe،ion-winning £20 million community complex at the ،spital.
