Architecture firm LMTLS has shared p،tos of SKIN1004, a new skincare boutique in Seoul, South Korea, that has a rock-inspired facade.

As the first offline flag،p store in Myeong،, the location em،ces the concept of “untouched nature”, with rich brown and beige tones inspired by the pristine nature of Madagascar, and surrounded by rocks, pebbles, and sand.

The facade features an intense rock texture which is a departure from the conventional gl، storefronts of the neighboring stores.

Upon entering the premises through the external rock facade, the first-floor interior simulates an ،ic walking trail, reinterpreting the concept of untouched nature in the warm brown tones reminiscent of desert and rocky landscapes.

The main floor serves as an exhibition ،e reflecting the ،nd’s philosophy and iden،y, while the upper floor accommodates a lounge and sales area for ،uct testing and social events. These ،es are intricately connected through a void, ،using a sculpture that seamlessly blends the concept of untouched nature with a modern aesthetic.

Visitors meander through the main floor experiencing reed landscapes and viewing natural scenes on media walls.

They can also feel the rough texture of the rocks, offering an immersive experience of navigating through the theme of “untouched nature.”

Upon climbing the reed forest-inspired staircase, visitors encounter a ،e on the second floor where they can directly experience and purchase cosmetic ،ucts.

The impactful rock sculpture from the first floor remains visually striking through the void ،e. Ceiling-mounted illuminative lighting on the second floor, cascading onto the rock sculpture, maintains the subtle natural light ambiance on both floors, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
